Privacy Policy
Intelligent Water Networks (IWN) respects the privacy of your personal information. IWN is committed to protecting the privacy of personal information which it collects, holds and administers. Personal information is information which directly or indirectly identifies a person.
When you enter a submission into the Water Minister’s Climate Innovation Challenge (the Challenge), any personal information that we collect about you or a third party during the submission or assessment process, is collected by IWN for the sole purposes of administering your submission and informing the Minister for Water and Members of Parliament of successful submissions. This includes your name, email address, company, role and telephone numbers.
Personal information may also be disclosed to external experts, such as members of judging panels, or other related bodies for assessment, reporting, advice and comment.
If you intend to include personal information about third parties in your submission, please ensure that they are aware of the contents of this privacy policy.
IWN will:
- only collect information which the organisation requires for the administration of the Challenge
- ensure that members and stakeholders are informed as to why we collect the information and how we administer the information collected
- use and disclose personal information only for the administration of the Challenge or a directly related purpose, or for another purpose with the person’s consent
- store personal information securely, protecting it from unauthorised access
- provide you with access to your own information, and the right to seek its correction.
Any personal information about you or a third party in your correspondence will be collected, held, managed, used, disclosed or transferred in accordance with the provisions of the Privacy and Data Protection Act 2014, the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and other applicable laws.
Members of the judging panel and all staff administering the Challenge will be bound by this privacy policy.
